Charlotte man grabs $793,378 Fast Play win

Dwayne Bollinger of Charlotte tried his luck on a Fast Play ticket and won a $793,378 Fast Play jackpot.

Bollinger bought his lucky $5 Double W!n ticket on Saturday from the Food Lion on Polk Street in Pineville.

At the time of the win, the Fast Play jackpot had just reached $1,586,756. Since Bollinger purchased a $5 ticket, he received 50% of the jackpot.

He arrived at lottery headquarters on Monday to collect his prize and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $571,313.
